In Sunday 2/2/2010, Conscientious objector (CO) Emelia Marcovich has refused to enlist the Israeli army.

Emelia is a part of “The Senior letter 2009-2010“.
We,Seniors that are suppose to enlist the israeli army in followed by the mandatory military service,refuse to take part in any oppression, in the occupation and in wars.

Emelia has been sentenced for 10 days of detention in a closed base (Meitav – Reception and Sorting Base), and she is supposed to be released at Wednesday 2/10/2010. Afterwards she will be judged again and probably will be sent to the military prision for womans.
Right now because she’s still not in prision you got a chance to call her to her ceullar +972 545897659 and tell her how much you support her action.

אנו, בוגרי תיכון שאמורים להתגייס לצבא הישראלי עקב חוק גיוס החובה הקבוע בחוק, מסרבים לקחת חלק בכל סוג של דיכוי, במשטר הכיבוש בגדה המערבית ובעזה, ובמלחמות בכלל.

אמלייה נשפטה לכ10 ימי ריתוק בבסיס צבאי (מיטב-הבקו”ם).
